Tapestry Singers - About Us

Our name comes from the interweaving of voices to form a colourful whole, a “Tapestry” of sound created by vocal threads. We particularly enjoy helping to raise valuable funds for local charities through our concerts: In 2009 and 2010 we supported Cambridgeshire Search and Rescue (CamSAR), raising over £2000. In 2012 we raised £700 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. In 2013 and 2014 we supported Spring Common School. In 2015 we supported the Lewin Stroke and Rehabilitation Unit at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, raising £800. In 2016 we supported Dreamdrops Huntingdonshire Children’s Charity, raising £700. In 2017, we have helped to raise funds for the Free Church in St Ives, St Margaret’s Church Hemingford Abbots, and our chosen charity is Dementia UK.
